A Walk in the Woods

Just thought I would share a few photographs I took with my I-Phone as I went for a hike a few weeks ago. This trail is part of the Tiger Mountain Trail system just outside of Issaquah, Washington. This particular hike is one that Lady Debby and I walk quite often. The water reflection shots are from Round Lake. This tiny lake completely dries up by late summer, and then refills throughout the other 3 seasons. In the other photographs you will see a lot of moss on the trees and ground. I don't recall ever seeing so much moss in all the years we've hiked there. It is quite spectacular.

“Everybody needs beauty...places to play in and pray in where nature may heal and cheer and give strength to the body and soul alike.” ― John Muir

If you've ever wondered why trail heads are always overflowing with cars, I think the above quote by John Muir sums it up very well.
